SUPERBENA BUSHYS
.Developed from breeding in Japan the “Bushy” Superbenas earn a place in any garden. There are flowers on the plants all year long in warmer areas. In southern areas they will have a rest in the cooler days of winter. For covering garden beds in sunny positions with a carpet of colour there are few plants better than Verbenas. Bushy Crimson, a fiery red and Bushy Merlot, a merlot wine grow quickly to around 50cm in width flowering so heavily all the time that it is hard to see the foliage below. They grow as a mat plant only a few mm high.

Origin

Bred by Plant 21 in Japan the “Bushy” Superbenas are worthy additons to the series. They are more compact and have heavier flowering that other Verbenas, this was one of the criteria for which they were selected.

Care Instructions

Easily looked after—as the plant grows it will need pruning back now and again to refresh the growth. This can be done at any time of the year, plants can be trimmed back severely, fertilized and watered and new growth and fresh flower is fast to come back.

Uses

In the Bushy Superbenas we have plants that are more compact than other Verbenas which makes them suited to larger pots and hanging baskets where they make a splendid show for many weeks. Cut back they will come back for an encore. In garden beds in sunny areas of the garden they carpet the garden with fast growth which comes into flower quickly covering the foliage of the bush with vibrant colourful flowers. Fertilised regularly with Liquid fertilizer or slow release designed for Flower and fruit results will not disappoint.
